Naga Safaris (PTY) Ltd was founded and established in July 2001 by Kenson Kgaga. He has been operations manager since then ably assisted by his children Mavis Kgaga and Kgaga Kgaga. The Kgaga family and the staff of Naga Safaris, all citizens of Botswana, have an extensive knowledge of the ecotourism industry. Their experience in mobile safaris and their knowledge of the local people, animal and plant species, the tracks in the parks and their ability to book campsites that are difficult to obtain by private individuals put them above any other safari operator.
Naga Safaris has been offering mobile safari tours to the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi Pans, Nxai Pan, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Nata Sanctuary, Chobe National Park, Tsodilo Hills, Victoria Falls, Popa Falls etc, since 2001. We also run cultural tours and transfers to the lodges when requested.
Our mobile camping safari is in tented accommodation in two-person tents with beds complete with duvets and soft blankets, sheets, and towels. The tents include wardrobes, mirrors, showers, low water consumption toilets and lamps. Each tent has two entrances and mats inside. The Camp Assistant is in charge of the tents and campsite and diligently sets up and breaks camp, provides a campfire, etc. Having a shower in the middle of the African bush as the sun sets over the horizon is something really special. Private campsites, often difficult to book by individuals or other tour operators, are chosen to provide the best access to game viewing. We can offer day trips to Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, and Nxai Pan or longer trips camping safaris to the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Nxai Pan, Makgadikgadi Pans, Tsodilo Hills, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Chobe National Park, etc.

Amazing experience with a lovely and very professional team! We spent 2 days in Moremi and the trip will be probably one of our best memory of our travel in Namibia and Botswana. We did a lot of game drives there with a very kind and helpful team. The camp was surrounded with elephants, comfortable with very good food! We hope to go back for another safari!

We had an incredible 4-day, 3-night camping safari with Naga in July. Our family of 5 (children aged 16,14, 11) and grandparents were all only positive about the experience and hope to return. Game viewing was carried out with great expertise and respect for the environment. The meals were amazingly diverse and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt very safe. We saw many animals on the game drives in Savute, including two lion prides, a pair of cheetahs, and much more. Thank you Kenson, KB, Josephine and the whole crew!
The founder of Naga Safaris was born in the Okavango Delta and started working in the tourism industry during his boyhood in 1972. Kenson became the Managing Director of the now famous Audi Camp in Maun in 1985, Kenson started Bush Camp in 1992, He then founded the Botswana Guides Association (BOGA). This body negotiates tourism policies with the government, and looks after the rights and working conditions of guides.
Kgaga ``Kg`` Kgaga grew up in the safari world with his father and worked in various guiding positions throughout the parks, is well-known for his expert guiding skills, which is highly appreciated by our clients.
Mavis has professional training in travel and tourism, and is managing director, in charge of reservations, organizing safari trips and liaising with international clientele.
